This is a pet free home. You will be charged a $1000 fine if you bring a pet into this home. 

Trapper 8:

When entering, you will be greeted by the fully stocked kitchen perfect for cooking all your favorite meals. Enjoy your evenings in the comfortable living or grilling on the patio. Up the stairs you will find the Master bedroom with queen bed.   Also located on this level of the house is the first of three additional guest rooms. The upstairs level features a full bath with shower/tub combo. The lower level of this home is an open floor with two additional guest bedrooms, each with queen sized bed. In the basement level is the second full bath with its own walk-in shower.

Air Conditioning:

Please note this home does not have AC, most homes in Montana do not have air conditioning.  We encourage our guests of Trapper 8 to open the windows at night to enjoy the cool evening temperatures and close those windows during the day (including curtains/blinds) to keep cooler air inside the home.  For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the home.  Additionally, homes will have fans located in the bedroom closets.

Yellowstone National Park Closures

The West Gate of Yellowstone National park will be closed from March 15th to April 21st 2023 to prepare for the summer season. The West Gate will then remain open for the summer season from April 21st until November 1st 2023.  Please note these dates are subject to change, please confirm your travel details prior to your arrival.
